My family and I faced multiple room changes during our stay, which was frustrating. Our initial room was small and had water issues in the shower. The lack of communication regarding discounts for our inconveniences left us feeling dissatisfied.

Check this out, I rocked up early after a long drive to a family funeral. The host was so chill, let me freshen up, which was a lifesaver! The room was lekker clean, proper comfy bed. Great spot, just a 10 min walk to the beach, and pubs near for a dop!

The breakfast options were delightful, especially the full English which I enjoyed multiple times. The proximity to local attractions made it easy to explore the area.

The rooms were quite small, which made it a bit tight for comfort. noise transfer from nearby rooms disrupted my sleep at times.

The breakfast at Trouville was a standout, with locally sourced ingredients and a variety of options. The hospitality was top-notch. Subri and Archi made me feel like part of the family. The room was very clean and fresh, and I loved the comfortable bed—if I could take it home, I would! the room size was a bit tight, which made it challenging for my partner's needs. The bathroom was adequate, though a little outdated. I had some trouble with the Wi-Fi connectivity, which was inconsistent during my stay. the vibe was welcoming and cozy, perfect for a short getaway.

The room had a surprisingly comfortable bed, and I appreciated that the shower offered plenty of hot water during my stay. I enjoyed the cool atmosphere in the basement room, especially during the hotter days.

The room felt a tad cramped, making it tricky to maneuver with luggage, especially if you're traveling with a partner. I noticed the décor was outdated, which might not sit well with some—tired carpets and old curtains in my room contributed to a slightly drab ambiance. the lack of double glazing was unhelpful, letting in noise from the main road that could wake even the soundest of sleepers. As far as parking goes, it’s a struggle—only a few spots are available, and I had to spend time hunting for a place to leave my vehicle during peak hours. Little things like inconsistent Wi-Fi, especially on the upper floors, and issues maintaining a stable water temperature in the shower were also bumps in the road for an otherwise decent stay.

the hotel offers easy access to the beautiful Agatha Christie Mile Path Walk, only about 800 meters away, and it's just a few steps to enjoy the lovely views at Meadfoot & London Bridge, perfect for a weekend stroll after a hearty breakfast.

The hosts at Trouville were exceptional! They upgraded our room to a more spacious one, and even helped us with our bags. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the beach and the vibrant Torquay Harbour. Breakfast was delightful, with locally sourced options and a cheerful start to the day.
